Growing up, I was raised in a small predominantly
white town and there was barely any black
representation in most things I experienced. I always
had felt singled out and not included. Today, I aim to
create Art that elegantly highlights the beauty of
black muses. Despite the negative connotations towards people of color in the media, my art depicts relatability, peace, and empowerment. From the genuine intimate connections we make with our children and/or partners, to exuding the self love we have built for ourselves, and capturing what it looks like to be beautiful on the inside as much as we are on the outside. We deserve to have more representation of who we naturally are. This is why I share my art with you today.
SOFT LIFE: A life of ease, peace, comfort and internal happiness. It does not require struggle love, stress, or distress. It consists of mutual relationships, clarity, and self care.
